About Charging & Data Cables

USB-C, Lightning, and Micro-USB cables in 3ft, 6ft, and 10ft lengths. Braided nylon jackets for durability, standard PVC for everyday carry. All cables are rated for fast charging — look for 60W+ ratings for USB-C PD. Every cable is USB-IF compliant and inspected before shipping.

How to Choose a Charging Cable

Connector. Modern iPhones (15+) and current Android flagships use USB-C; iPhone 14 and older use Lightning. Confirm your port before buying.

Wattage rating. For fast charging the cable must support your charger's wattage. A cable rated below 18W bottlenecks a 65W charger — look for 60W, 100W, or 240W.

Data speed. USB 2.0 cables transfer at 480Mbps; USB 3.2 cables hit 10Gbps. For large file transfers, USB 3.2 makes a real difference.

Build. Braided nylon resists tangling and lasts 3–5x longer than standard PVC under heavy use.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. The braid is for durability, not speed. Charging speed is set by the wire gauge and wattage rating. A braided 60W cable charges at the same speed as a standard 60W cable — but lasts much longer.
  • Usually a cable with too low a wattage rating, a charger that doesn't support your phone's fast-charging protocol, or a USB-A port (which caps at ~18W). Verify cable, charger, and phone all support the same standard.
  • Yes — USB-C cables do both. Ensure the cable is rated for data (not charge-only), and look for USB 3.2 if you transfer large videos or photos.
